Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the safe receipt, storage, and delivery of materials and services for customers. You will ensure health and safety compliance, audit inventories, and manage building maintenance through approved vendors.

You will lead the site leadership team, drive cost control, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced distribution environment in the Richmond, VA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, industrial engineering, distribution or related field.
• Minimum ten years in distribution/production.
• Minimum five years in management/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering, HR laws and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of materials to customers.
• Manage budget and control expenses; monitor operating costs.
• Adhere to OSHA, DOT and safety programs; ensure policy compliance.
• Lead site leadership delivering Richmond, VA operations and continuous improvement.
