The Production Control Supervisor leads the daily production-control activities across assigned manufacturing value streams, translating the schedule into clear shop-floor priorities and coordinating work orders, labor, materials, equipment, and documentation to protect throughput and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production-control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ERP/MRP discipline.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving contract manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production-control execution across assigned value streams, establishing clear priorities for schedule attainment, work-order readiness, material flow, throughput, quality, and customer delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production-control coordinators, schedulers, expediters, or other assigned personnel; manage work assignments, coverage, performance expectations, training, and accountability.
• Conduct daily production-control meetings and participate in floor huddles to communicate schedule priorities, staffing needs, material shortages, quality holds, equipment constraints, and required recovery actions.
• Maintain an active shop-floor presence, verify actual production status, remove coordination barriers, and escalates issues that cannot be resolved at the operating level.
• Create and maintain standard work, procedures, training materials, cross-training plans, and escalation paths that improve consistency and decision speed across shifts.
