Surface Labs in San Francisco seeks a Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and scale founder-led initiatives. You will own outbound campaigns, coordinate enterprise outreach, and help run early-stage operations with a hands-on approach.

This role offers exposure to fundraising, marketing, hiring, and strategic planning in a small, fast-moving startup environment. You’ll be in the SF office five days a week.

Qualifications

• Excellent writer with clear, concrete copy.
• Detail-oriented and punctual; reliable day-to-day operations.
• Consulting/banking/strategy and ops background preferred.
• Able to operate with low ego and high output.
• Willing to be in SF office five days a week.

Responsabilités

• Prospect key accounts, craft email sequences, and support founder-led outreach.
• Organize executive dinners, invite leaders, book venues, and manage logistics.
• Run day-to-day ops: payroll, expenses, vendor management, calendar, and recruiting logistics.
• Draft founder-led content for LinkedIn/X and ensure timely posts.
• Help run launches, fundraising announcements, and in-person events with timelines and coordination.
