Climate Interactive seeks a Chief Operating Officer to join the senior leadership team, translating organizational strategy into effective plans, budgets, staffing, systems, and results. The COO will oversee operations, financial management, fundraising support, and organizational effectiveness during a growth phase.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in nonprofit/mission-driven organizations.
• Ability to translate strategy into operational plans, systems, and processes.
• Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Good judgment in weighing opportunities, priorities, resources, and risk.
• Experience leading people operations, culture, and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead operationalization of the strategic plan with clear workplans, resource needs, staffing, decisions, and progress measures.
• Partner with executive leadership on annual planning, goals, and KPIs.
• Assess opportunities and priorities with respect to mission impact, financials, staffing, risk, and feasibility.
• Serve as primary integrator across functions, aligning program, fundraising, staffing, and operations.
