Job summary

Lehman College's School of Continuing & Professional Studies seeks an Operations Assistant Specialist for the Continuing Education unit. The CE team supports over 25 certificate programs and serves ~4,000 students annually, with $1.3M in revenue.

The role reports to the Director of Continuing Education in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Anticipated start date is Feb 15, 2027, with responsibilities including overseeing operations, logistics, and AI-enabled workflows to scale programs wisely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years related experience.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and innovate day-to-day CE department operations for consistency and efficiency.
• Coordinate program logistics, scheduling, enrollment processes, and timelines across CE offerings.
• Collaborate with CE leadership, staff, instructors, and external partners to support delivery.
• Design and maintain operational workflows, procedures, service standards, and AI-enabled processes.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement improvements.
• Supervise and train CE frontline staff and allocate work by capacity.
