Job summary

WithCoverage is building AI-powered risk management for a new era of insurers. The Business Operations Lead collaborates with executive leadership, Risk, and Product to redesign how risk management work is done, from diagnosis to full implementation, owning end-to-end process improvements.

You will shape workflows, structures, and performance metrics, and drive automation initiatives that scale across the organization. This role demands hands-on problem solving and cross-functional influence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in rigorous strategy and operations roles (e.g., management consulting, early-stage operations).
• Exceptional structured problem solver with ability to form hypotheses and use data to reach practical conclusions.
• High autonomy and comfort defining path forward in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to map workflows, data, and day-to-day execution to scale solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end optimization of Risk Management workflows across the organization.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities to improve quality, speed, and efficiency and lead the implementation.
• Define metrics to reveal performance, capacity, and operational bottlenecks across Risk pods.
• Build reporting and capacity-planning systems to inform hiring and resource allocation.
• Design and improve standard operating procedures as the organization and tech evolve.
• Define ownership models for critical workflows and new role profiles.
• Partner with Product to translate operational pain points into an automation roadmap.
