Job summary

Anchor is seeking an AI-First Compliance and Risk Manager to own and scale our compliance operations as we grow. This is a hands-on role running day-to-day KYB/KYC onboarding, transaction monitoring, investigations, and documentation while implementing AI and automation to reduce manual work.

Reporting to the COO, you will build automated workflows, surface risk with AI-generated summaries, and partner with auditors and product teams to stay audit-ready.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of AML, BSA compliance, or regulated payments experience.
• Experience with KYB/KYC onboarding and sanctions screening using AI tools.
• Ability to make risk-based decisions in time-sensitive situations.
• Strong regulatory-writing and audit documentation skills.
• Hands-on AI experience in a compliance context.
• Familiarity with ACH payments or SaaS billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead KYB/KYC onboarding and CIP workflows with AI-assisted review.
• Serve as primary client-facing compliance contact during onboarding.
• Investigate alerts across AML, sanctions, and financial crime.
• Document findings clearly for audits and regulatory standards.
• Use AI analytics to optimize monitoring rules and controls.
• Collaborate with product and R&D to embed safeguards in new features.
• Support auditors and regulatory inquiries.
