Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company (AIUC) seeks an operational backbone leader who can design and run the business from first principles, bringing in-house systems, financial controls, and scalable processes to support rapid growth in SF.

You will own real ops, centralize spend, partner with recruiting, deliver board-ready FP&A, and remove bottlenecks. This is a hands-on generalist role for a high-growth startup.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in operations or generalist roles at high-growth startups.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented approach with focus on efficiency.
• Ability to translate first principles into concrete plans and structured systems.

Responsibilities

• Insource and own core operations—build in-house infrastructure, systems and processes.
• Centralize spend and financial controls—consolidate vendors and enhance visibility of expenditures.
• Support recruiting and people ops—help hire and onboard as headcount grows.
• Run strategic finance and reporting—board reporting, FP&A and performance metrics.
• Drive efficiency—identify time/money sinks and design durable, scalable solutions.
