Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is hiring an Operations Representative for the Greater Cincinnati area. The role involves daily handling of orders, inventory management aiming for 98% accuracy, vendor invoicing, freight processing, and supporting warehouse operations.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years in operations, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to multi-task and resolve issues with a can-do attitude. Role includes benefits and growth opportunities in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Operations or a related position.
• Knowledge of SXe (Trend) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities and root cause analysis.
• Can-do attitude with commitment to doing it right the first time.
• Ability to collaborate with associates, customers, and vendors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and highly motivated.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct order exceptions daily.
• Review and follow up on picked tickets weekly.
• Cycle count resolution as needed.
• Manage inventory to ensure 98% accuracy.
• Follow up on vendor returns monthly.
• Assist in resolution of shipment discrepancies.
• Review and close out customer orders daily by adding freight and maintaining freight flags.
• Enter, submit, and process freight claims as necessary.
• Review, approve and code vendor invoices in DataServ.
• Review and process service parts audits.
• Review and process customer returns and credits.
• Set up new vendor accounts for the division as necessary.
• Replenish truck stock inventory as necessary.
• Maintain and order office supplies.
• Assist with scheduling of facility maintenance.
• Assist with customer will-call/pick-up orders.
• Review and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies as needed.
• Review and resolve customer disputes.
• Review and process vendor returns.
• Review nonstock inventory reports and take action.
• Review, follow up, and invoice orders at month end.
• Lead, organize and participate in annual physical inventory audits.
• Audit service staging area monthly for old jobs and double pulls.
• Assist with credit card processing as needed.
• Process warehouse transfers ensuring tracking and freight are added.
