Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Operations Specialist to manage order updates, scheduling, and documentation through the ERP system. You will apply knowledge of ERP options and customer requirements, while handling inquiries and ensuring accurate data entry in the distribution software.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and attention to detail in a repair shop environment, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year college, or high school with two years related experience.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical, automation or mechanical distribution.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word/Excel) for documentation and reporting.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, dependable, able to follow instructions.
• Team player in a repair shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and schedule orders through the shop.
• Know ERP options and apply them to entries.
• Understand service and operational account requirements.
• Address customer inquiries regarding orders.
• Apply ERP system knowledge to opportunities (Infor CSD).
• Collect and distribute required operation and service documentation.
• Expedite purchase orders when needed.
• Enter and maintain customer sales orders in the distribution software.
• Maintain paperwork from start to end of the operational process.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per safety regulations.
