Job summary

Cardinal Health offers a Summer 2027 Internship Program in Madison, WI, designed for undergraduates entering their senior year. The 10-12 week program features hands-on projects, mentoring, and exposure to leadership.

Start dates May 17 or 24, 2027, with ~40 hours per week and a focus on warehouse operations and continuous improvement. Selected interns will collaborate with site leaders, document solutions, and develop reporting capabilities while exploring full-time career paths within Cardinal

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field, preferred
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, preferred
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, Lean Six Sigma or other improvement techniques, preferred
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills
• Participation in extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations
• Unlimited work authorization in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes
• Document and present solutions to site leadership to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity
• Assist and collaborate with leaders in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and related warehouse functions
• Support daily warehouse operations and improve workflow and productivity
• Exposure to processing orders, KPI analysis, and data visualization to analyze metrics
• Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work on the warehouse floor daily to observe and improve operational processes
