Job summary

Cardinal Health's Summer Internship Program offers a 10–12 week, university-level internship focused on real-world warehouse and supply chain projects in Aurora, IL.

Interns collaborate with professionals, participate in mentoring, and have opportunities to interview for full-time roles after completion. Start dates are May 17 or 24, 2027, with about 40 hours per week. Pay is $23.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree; preferred graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement techniques.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify and implement improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to leadership to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity metrics.
• Assist in daily warehouse operations across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and storage.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Analyze KPI data and design workflows to ensure operational effectiveness.
