Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. invites undergraduates to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Valencia, CA for 10–12 weeks of hands-on work and professional development.

The Operations Intern will partner with site leaders to identify and implement improved processes, contribute to daily warehouse operations, and present solutions to leadership. Participants gain mentoring, cross-functional exposure, and opportunities to interview for full-time roles upon completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and Lean Six Sigma or other improvement techniques preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Participation in extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations.
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes with site leaders.
• Document and present solutions to site leadership to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist and collaborate with leaders in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage and delivery.
• Assist in daily warehouse operations to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Analyze KPI and design workflows to ensure operational effectiveness.
