Job summary

Cardinal Health in Lakeland, FL invites undergraduates for a Summer Internship Program focused on Operations. You will work about 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, contributing to real warehouse processes, KPI analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mentoring, cross-team exposure, and leadership development are core components of the program. Start dates are May 17 or 24, 2027, with opportunities to interview for full-time roles after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028 preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles; Lean Six Sigma or similar preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Participation in extracurricular activities or professional associations.

Responsibilities

• Support site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to leadership to improve efficiency and cost effects.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist in warehouse operations across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Analyze KPI data and help design workflows to improve operations.
• Work daily on the warehouse floor to observe, support, and improve processes.
