Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Summer Internship Program is a 10-12 week, structured experience for undergraduates entering their senior year, designed to drive real outcomes in the healthcare industry.

Location: Swedesboro, New Jersey. Start Dates: May 17 or May 24, 2027. Hours: approximately 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks, with opportunities to interview for full-time roles upon completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2027–Jun 2028
• Knowledge of supply chain principles; Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement techniques preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical abilities required
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment; unrestricted US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Support site leaders to identify, analyze and implement new or improved processes
• Document and present solutions to leadership to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Assist in daily warehouse operations and collaborate with teams such as receiving, packing, shipping, staging and delivery
• Develop, measure and maintain performance and productivity metrics
• Engage in projects and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
• Work on the warehouse floor daily to observe and improve processes
