Job summary

Cardinal Health in Aurora, Illinois is offering a Summer Internship Program for undergraduates entering their senior year. The 10-12 week program provides hands-on, business-critical projects with exposure to the healthcare industry and a path to interview for full-time roles after completion.

As an Operations Intern, you will partner with site leaders to improve processes, document solutions, and support daily warehouse operations, gaining leadership and professional development through

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, or related field (preferred).
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028 (preferred).
• Knowledge of supply chain principles or Lean Six Sigma or other improvement techniques (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to site leadership to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist and collaborate with leaders in warehouse functions (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, etc.).
• Cross-training in multiple areas and participation in projects as needed.
