Job summary

Cencora is offering a 10-week Operations Intern program at our Orlando, FL distribution center. You will work under a mentor, gain exposure to multiple supply chain functions, and learn how to lead teams and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be pursuing a related degree and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. The internship requires flexibility to work across shifts and complete a hands-on, project-driven experience within the summer program.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines.
• Build affiliation with hourly team members and interact with senior leadership.
• Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes.
• Report findings to team members and management.
• Assist in daily/weekly workload planning to support priorities and manage a team to achieve goals.
• Work on projects with limited supervision and manage time effectively.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables).
• Be flexible to work across all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Participate in internship program training and mentorship activities.
• Develop communication and leadership abilities to guide a frontline workgroup.

Education

Bachelor’s degree within 1 year of internship completion
