Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA Lancaster site seeks a General Manager of Operations-LBY FWY to lead the operation, ensure safety, compliance, and strong financial results while aligning with corporate mission.

You will manage budgets, develop client relations, drive Lean and six-sigma initiatives, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality logistics services across air, sea, and road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution; 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong leadership, budgeting and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations to achieve safety, productivity and service goals.
• Develop annual operating budgets and monitor cost/revenue performance.
• Lead client relationships and contract negotiations at the site level.
• Drive Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO activities.
• Mentor and develop site leaders and ensure compliance with policies.
