Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking an OpEx and Industrial Engineer Specialist to drive continuous improvement across production environments. You will apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and KPI frameworks to cut waste and raise productivity while standardizing best practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations, manufacturing engineering, process improvement or a similar role.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership with multi-project capability.
• Proficient in statistics software, CAD/CAM, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process controls and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and KPI practices to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Develop, implement and lead OpEx initiatives with standardization of best practices.
• Analyze existing processes and highlight areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and address root causes.
• Conduct capacity utilization studies and production flow analyses to identify efficiency gains.
• Design layouts for facilities, equipment and offices for maximum efficiency and safety.
• Conduct OpEx training and support change management.
• Develop end-to-end supply chain models reflecting cost structures and resources.
• Develop standardized process measurement tools to monitor operations.
• Manage projects to reduce costs, improve service and customer satisfaction.
• Perform audits of process control systems for compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure environmental, safety, quality and health standards are maintained.
