Job summary

Vallourec - North America is seeking an OpEx Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives under the DRIVE+ Management System. You will facilitate lean projects, map value streams, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

The role requires deep experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM, with a focus on training and sustaining improvements across sites. Travel locally is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred mechanical, electrical, automation).
• 5 years in Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing within an industrial setting.
• Strong background in engineering or operations leadership with process flow and waste identification.
• Experience implementing Six Sigma or Toyota Production System methodologies.
• Shop floor experience with ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve and own elements of the DRIVE+ Management system with governance and audits.
• Identify, prioritize and execute CI projects to improve KPIs including safety, quality and cost.
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain value stream maps and metrics for key processes.
• Coordinate and report status of improvement efforts to executive leadership.
• Coach and develop site resources on the DRIVE+ system.
