Job summary

Eaton’s Early Career Programs offer a two-year rotation across operations roles designed to develop future leaders in the Electrical Sector. You’ll rotate through mechanical, electrical, and quality tracks with site assignments in Sumter, SC or Cleveland, TN, and relocation assistance to support your learning journey.

You will gain exposure to engineering functions, manufacturing tests, and customer interactions while developing core skills in leadership, problem solving, and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with GPA 2.8+ (not rounded).
• Internship or co-op experience or equivalent of 3 months related experience.
• Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States; CPT/OPT/STEM options not considered.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: process switchboard orders and prepare docs using Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Plant Order Manager.
• Design & Engineering: develop and route parts using AutoCAD and 3D tools and support design reviews.
• Customer Engagement: interact with customers, sales teams, and support channels through visits and events.
• Product Development: collaborate with Product Line Engineering to improve designs and support lean initiatives.
• Technical Documentation: translate specs into designs and manage interfaces and drawings.
• Training & Support: provide technical training and assist engineers in troubleshooting.
