Job summary

Generac Power Systems seeks an Operations Engineering Manager in Belvidere, IL to lead facility operations and drive continuous improvement across the value chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Industrial Technology OR 8 years related experience in the Operations function within a similar working environment.
• 5 years of progressive Engineering management experience in similar work environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial measurements and goals.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, directs and assigns activities and responsibilities to maintain high operating standards, safety and orderliness.
• Drives facility operations priorities to meet customer expectations and KPI targets.
• Implements policies, procedures and process documentation to ensure ongoing success of initiatives.
• Deploys demand-driven strategies that support operational excellence and long-range plans.
• Ensures streams of product, material and information are synchronized for maximum efficiency.
• Act as Epicore or SAP Super User within the functional area.
