Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer III to lead lean initiatives and coach teams in applying Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) across manufacturing and distribution facilities.

You will implement standards, mentor peers, and partner with corporate CI to drive waste elimination and process excellence with a focus on flow, Kanban, and problem solving. This role emphasizes practical hands-on improvement and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5 years of continuous improvement/lean engineering experience.
• Preferred: certification in lean or operations disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach lean initiatives using GMS across value streams.
• Develop and document standard work for continuous improvement.
• Mentor facility teams in lean principles and tools.
• Collaborate with corporate CI to implement standards and programs.
• Support facility strategic plans and share best practices.
