Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive ongoing process improvement across the value chain.

This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes and product quality by studying methods, identifying improvements, and coordinating with shop floor personnel to implement changes. The engineer will lead area layout design, PLC programming, and equipment selection, while contributing to the Generac Fulfillment System across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver &

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial technology.
• 5+ years of related experience in engineering in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of lean principles and process improvements.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Lead area layouts, process definition, PLC programming, and equipment selection/Justification.
• Support deployment of the Generac Fulfillment System across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver & Service.
• Lead and coordinate successful launches of New Product Introductions within Operations.
• Support facility transformation and technology transfer for mixed model lines.
• Promote continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and controls.
