Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Operations Engineer for its CPA business within the Electrical Sector. This two-year rotational program develops future operational leaders with placements at Sumter, SC or Cleveland, TN, including relocation assistance.

You will rotate through manufacturing, engineering, and customer-facing roles while gaining broad exposure to products such as switchboards and panelboards. The program emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement as you

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering; graduation date before July 2027.
Minimum GPA 2.8 (not rounded).
At least one internship or 3 months relevant experience.
Willingness to relocate within the United States.
Relocation assistance provided if outside 50-mile radius of Cleveland, TN or Sumter, SC.

Responsibilities

Participate in a two-year rotational program across manufacturing, design, and testing locations.
Gain exposure to engineering functions, manufacturing, field sales, and customers.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and product development with cross-functional teams.
Develop leadership, project management, and communication skills through structured rotations.
Travel up to 25% locally as required by assignments.
