Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated Operations Intern to learn and contribute across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and Data Analysis. You will support operational tasks, analyze data, and build dashboards to drive performance.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams to improve workflow efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.1 required; transcripts will be reviewed.
• Completed at least 1 year of undergrad studies.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma tools (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5Y, etc.).
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or ERP/MRP systems; exposure to forecasting or inventory management.
• Demonstrated leadership in an executive role in a club/organization/athletic team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operational tasks related to manufacturing throughput, material readiness, and production coordination.
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to improve visibility and support decision-making.
