Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks an Operations Intern to learn and contribute across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, CI, and Data Analysis. You’ll support data collection, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination to enhance product delivery and operational efficiency.

You will work with multiple departments on continuous improvement and standard work updates, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations management or a related field.
• GPA 3.1 minimum; transcripts required.
• Completed at least 1 year of undergraduate studies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operational tasks related to manufacturing throughput, material readiness, and production coordination.
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to improve visibility and support decision‑making.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics used by Operations leadership.
• Participate in meetings with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams to support planning and follow‑up actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on workflow efficiency, process consistency, or data accuracy.
• Support documentation updates, standard work, and operational procedures to ensure alignment and clarity across teams.
