Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated Operations Intern for a July–December 2027 co‑op in Hudson, NH. In this hands-on role you’ll support daily operational tasks, data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination to improve throughput and process visibility.

You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Programs teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help document standard work and procedures.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.1; transcripts may be requested during review.
• At least 1 year of undergraduate studies completed.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot, lookups, basic formulas).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP/MRP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to leadership.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operational tasks related to manufacturing throughput, material readiness, and production coordination.
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to improve visibility and support decision-making.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics used by Operations leadership.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support planning and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on workflow efficiency, process consistency, or data accuracy.
• Support documentation updates, standard work, and operational procedures for alignment across teams.
