Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to support operational initiatives, store operations, and cross-functional projects within a retail environment. This role serves as a key liaison between store teams, field leadership, and internal departments to ensure operational requests, process improvements, and business initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting retail or multi-location operations, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting store performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for store-driven initiatives, operational requests, system enhancements, and retail business projects.
• Partner with store managers, field teams, merchandising, supply chain, marketing, finance, and other internal departments to support retail operations.
• Coordinate operational initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables remain on track.
• Support the intake, prioritization, documentation, tracking, and resolution of store-related requests and operational issues.
• Monitor and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and implementation updates to stakeholders.
• Track operational metrics, project milestones, and action items to ensure timely completion and accountability.
• Prepare reports, meeting agendas, project documentation, status updates, and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate training sessions, testing activities, store rollouts, and implementation support for new operational programs and system enhancements.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives that enhance store efficiency, productivity, customer experience, and operational consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges affecting store performance.
• Build strong working relationships with store leadership and business partners while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
• Support ongoing business growth initiatives and special retail projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations coordination, retail operations, project coordination, administrative support, or business operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail or customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow tasks through to completion.

Preferred

• Experience supporting retail, grocery, supermarket, convenience store, franchise, distribution, or multi-location operations.
• Familiarity with store operations, merchandising, inventory management, promotions, and customer service processes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional retail projects and operational improvement initiatives.
