Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, a leading supplier, is hiring for an Operations role at a Dallas/Fort Worth area location. The position includes a six-month training period at Grand Prairie and could move to another Dallas/Fort Worth location. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm. Pay starts at $18/hour depending on experience.

This role focuses on branch operations, inventory control, customer service, and collaboration with vendors and shared services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Trilogie knowledge a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated/goal oriented; able to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• WMS/HighJump knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act within established objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain inventories and perform day-to-day paperwork.
• Collaborate with vendors and Ferguson shared services to resolve pricing discrepancies.
• Process customer credits accurately per guidelines.
• Support WMS variance and cycle count reconciliation.
• Help develop or implement quality control programs.
• Support operational efficiency and safety initiatives.
• Review invoices for pricing/cost accuracy including freight.
