Job summary

Gouspack in Chantilly, VA is seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator to support overall logistics and client goals. You will oversee contracting with Independent Contractors (ICs) who transport equipment from client locations to designated sites as requested by customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring route coverage, coordinating IC check-ins, and ensuring on-time dispatch while maintaining compliant IC paperwork and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have basic MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) experience.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent judgment to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work overtime.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor route coverage and IC check‑ins; ensure on‑time routes.
• Create routes per customer requirements and coordinate dispatch changes.
• Communicate delays to customers and dispatch; monitor dispatch board.
• Ensure ICs use correct vehicle types and IC paperwork is up to date.
• Assist ICs with issues during dispatch; arrange for STAT coverage when needed.
• Prepare daily reports and administrative paperwork as directed.
