Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support daily plant operations, focusing on SAP transactions, inventory management, and shipment coordination. You will liaise with Operations, Customer Service, Transportation, Purchasing, and vendors to ensure safe, compliant facility operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks. Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn business systems and processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehousing, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory, shipping, receiving, and production transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and communicate shipment status with internal teams and carriers.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, adjustments, reconciliations, and container tracking.
• Manage operational documentation and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with procurement activities, vendor management, invoice reconciliation, and special projects.
• Partner with Operations leadership to support daily plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
