Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator I in Carteret, NJ. You will ensure accurate SAP ERP transactions, support daily plant operations, and coordinate shipments and inventory control, while liaising with operations managers and supervisors to keep processes efficient and compliant.

You will work to manage inbound/outbound shipments, maintain documentation, and support procurement and regulatory duties as needed, contributing to a safe, productive plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 2-5 years experience managing transactions through SAP ERP system
• Experience with SAP ERP and warehouse operations preferred
• Strong technical acumen and familiarity with standard business computer systems

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and containers into inventory and manage lab samples
• Direct material picks in preparation for shipment to customers
• Review and firm process orders to schedule production
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and manage vendor relationships
• Support plant safety activities and regulatory documentation
• Assist in inventory control processes including cycle counts and adjustments
