Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily plant operations, managing SAP transactions, inventory processes, and shipment coordination. You will serve as a link between Operations, Customer Service, Transportation, Purchasing, and external vendors to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong computer skills, with experience in SAP or ERP systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn business systems and processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehousing, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory, shipping, receiving, and production transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and communicate shipment status with internal teams and carriers.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, adjustments, reconciliations, and container tracking.
• Manage operational documentation and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with procurement activities, vendor management, invoice reconciliation, and special projects.
• Partner with Operations leadership to support daily plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
