Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily operations of the Flight Team program.

You will assist leadership in developing and managing programs, projects, and initiatives for the department, while coordinating resources and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience coordinating and supporting programs.
  • Associate or higher degree may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes, allocates, and manages resources to meet department, project, initiative and/or program needs.
  • Assists with the development of outreach plan(s) according to program needs and capacity.
  • Acts as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizes and establishes meetings on regular basis with designated individuals impacted by the program, initiative and/or project to foster positive relationships and gather continuous feedback.
  • Provides administrative support by planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operational activities of the program, project and/or initiative.
  • Utilizes a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations; and participates in the communication of program, initiative, or project status and progress.
  • Assists in the development of short and long term plans and strategies for programs, monitors progress, assures adherence and evaluates performance.
  • Assists in the design of performance objectives and implements and monitors programming to meet desired outcomes.
  • Assists with the development and facilitation of training to address team member needs and identify relevant updates when needed.
  • Coordinates non-emergent patient transport requests, including preparing cost estimates, obtaining required documentation and approvals, and collaborating with appropriate teams to facilitate transport arrangements.
  • Reviews EMS patient care documentation for completeness and accuracy and coordinates follow-up on missing or incomplete information to support billing and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinates and maintains interfacility transfer agreements by tracking agreement status and renewals and facilitating communication, review, approval, and execution with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $26.47 to $39.71
