Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support vendor management and discharge planning activities. The role acts as a liaison across internal teams and community partners to ensure smooth patient transitions.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, in-person, with day shift hours from 8am to 4:30pm. At least two years of program coordination experience is expected, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

  • An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience.

  • Utilizes a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations; and participates in the communication of program, initiative, or project status and progress.

Job Overview

The Operations Coordinator provides operational support for vendor management activities that support discharge planning, patient progression, and transition-of-care initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of vendor resources within Epic, coordination of vendor relationships, workflow optimization, performance reporting, and resolution of operational barriers impacting patient transitions. This role serves as a key liaison between Children's Hospital Colorado and community-based partners to support efficient, effective, and patient-centered transitions of care.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Utilizes, allocates, and manages resources to meet department, project, initiative and/or program needs.
  2. Acts as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Organizes and establishes meetings on regular basis with designated individuals impacted by the program, initiative and/or project to foster positive relationships and gather continuous feedback.
  4. Provides administrative support by planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operational activities of the program, project and/or initiative.
  5. Utilizes a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information.
  6. Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations; and participates in the communication of program, initiative, or project status and progress.
  7. Assists in the development of short and long term plans and strategies for programs, monitors progress, assures adherence and evaluates performance.
  8. Assists in the design of performance objectives and implements and monitors programming to meet desired outcomes.
  9. Assists with the development and facilitation of training to address team member needs and identify relevant updates when needed.
  10. Assists with the development of outreach plan(s) according to program needs and capacity.
Minimum Qualifications
  • EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent.
  • EXPERIENCE - Two years of experience coordinating and supporting programs.
  • EQUIVALENCY - An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience
Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $26.47 to $39.71
