The Transport Communication Specialist - Children'sOne supports the Children'sOne Flight Team by coordinating safe and timely transportation for patients and families via ground ambulance, helicopter, or fixed-wing aircraft. This role is responsible for dispatching the most appropriate air or ground resource based on patient needs and mission requirements, ensuring safety and efficiency through strong communication and customer service.
Specialists use a variety of systems and tools, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), telecommunications equipment, mapping and flight tracking software, weather and traffic monitoring, and remote video surveillance of helipads. They provide real‑time updates to stakeholders, manage logistics, and help ensure the safe completion of every mission.
Department Name: Flight Team. Job Status: Full time, 36 hours per week. Shift: Day shift (05:45-18:15) and Night Shift (17:45-06:15), Weekends and Holidays. In person role.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $22.87 to $34.30
