Job summary

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a CNC Machinist for a full-time, 12-month contract in Mountainhome, PA 18342. You will set up CNC machines, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality throughout production.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma with 2+ years of experience; First Article Inspection is mandatory, and CNC certifications (Zeiss CMMs) are a plus. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a CNC Machinist. Position type: Full-time, Contract. Duration: 12 Months. Location: Mountainhome PA 18342. Shift: 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines to specific production steps or processes, such as producing machined parts.
• Check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging, and measurements.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process charts and other control procedures.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, design sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
• Complete highly complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
• Consistently work on a variety of highly complex tasks requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve highly complex problems.
• Make recommendations for new procedures.
• Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process.
• Conduct inspections of work produced.
• Keep records and maintain quality/safety standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) is mandatory.
• CNC certifications are preferred (Zeiss CMMs).

Pay Range & Benefits

Pay Range*: $25.00/hr to $29.00/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
