Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates to join its fast-paced operations team. As an OA, you will report to a Site Leader and perform a range of duties including picking, packing, receiving product from vendors, and coordinating with drivers.

This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and efficiency in a warehouse setting, with periodic work in freezer locations and handling items that may include tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol. Flexibility across shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant or retail preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts.
• Basic knowledge of web-based tools (e.g., Google G-Suite).
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch.
• Receive/unpack pallets and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize facility.
• Manage waste and spoilage per FIFO guidelines.
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely.
• Stand, push, pull, bend, reach and walk during shifts.
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product.
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
• Work in freezer locations periodically during shifts.
• Prepare beverages and food menu items observing recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaging for delivery.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Receive and put away orders and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements.
• Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and standards to ensure resources are accessible while managing waste and spoilage.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
