Job summary

Gopuff is seeking an Operations Associate to join the team. You will perform a variety of responsibilities including picking, packing, receiving product, inventory control, and ensuring accuracy with orders across site operations and kitchen where applicable.

As an OA you will workJ with site leaders, maintain safety standards, and support beverage/food preparation per recipes. Flexibility to work peak shifts and physical tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Retail or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility.
• Follow FIFO to manage waste and avoid spoilage.
• Communicate with customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, dollies safely.
• Work in freezer locations periodically as needed.
• Prepare quality beverages and food menu items per recipes and standards.
