Job summary

Flexdrive is seeking an Operations Associate to join the Austin team full-time. You will provide in-person service at Flexdrive facilities, handling the Express Drive rental process from check-in to return, and ensuring vehicles are prepared for Lyft drivers.

Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will work to maintain high standards of service, organize vehicle lots, coordinate transportation, and collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and support the Lyft driver

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role like retail, technical support or hospitality.
• Familiarity with the Austin area.
• Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent, clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, problem identification and solving, de-escalation, teamwork, and self-governance.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with the car rental process, including Express Drive customer support, customer Arrival/Check-In, assigning drivers to rental vehicles and processing rental returns.
• Prepares Flexdrive rental vehicles for Lyft Drivers, including fueling and cleaning, telematics installation, license plates, fleet inspections, and managing compliance documents.
• Manages vehicle lot organization, vehicle transportation, and other daily rental operations.
• Flags vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the Operations Lead and partners.
• Builds trust and works with others to achieve results and team goals.
• Upskills the Lyft brand as an ambassador while serving drivers.
• Takes initiative and ownership to make it happen and seeks opportunities to contribute to team success.
