Job summary

Flexdrive, located in Austin, is seeking an Operations Associate to handle in-person customer service and end-to-end Express Drive rentals. You will support the rental process at local Flexdrive facilities and help drivers prepare for their journeys, reporting to the Operations Lead.

The role emphasizes teamwork, high service standards, and proactive contribution to team success, with a focus on those with a passion for ride-sharing and operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role such as retail, technical support or hospitality.
• Excellent, clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, problem identification and solving, de-escalation, teamwork and self-governance.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with the car rental process, including Express Drive support, check-in, assigning drivers to vehicles and processing returns.
• Prepares rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics, plates, inspections and compliance documents.
• Manages vehicle lot organization, transportation, and daily rental operations.
• Flags vehicle issues and program challenges to the Operations Lead and partners.
