JOB SCOPE:

This position requires strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on delivering careful, fast results to exceed customer expectations. You will champion customer service and help Premier meet operational and financial objectives. You will be accountable for performance and results by applying operating principles and managing work processes in a fast-paced environment.

This is an on-site position at Premier's branch in Richmond, VA.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inspect trailers to ensure safety and compliance with Federal Highway Guidelines and industry regulations.
  • Generate customer rental agreements.
  • Coordinate work on trailers with vendors, ensuring adherence to Premier's policies and procedures.
  • Manage and reconcile equipment inventory, including outbound and inbound gate activity daily.
  • Assist in transporting equipment between branches, to customers, and vendors.
  • Ensure all customers have proper insurance before renting a trailer.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections.
  • Handle daily administrative paperwork and filing.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and address customer questions.

  • Safety Awareness: Follow safety regulations, check equipment, recognize hazards, and use safety gear.
  • Verbal Communication: Clearly express ideas verbally in person or over the phone.
  • Written Communication: Write clear, organized documents with proper grammar.
  • Problem Solving: Examine issues by collecting evidence and analyzing factual information.
  • Mechanical Aptitudes: Basic understanding of mechanical principles and operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferred: BA degree or 2 years' experience in trailer leasing.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, organized, personable, with a sense of urgency.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Inspect trailers inside and out, including getting inside and underneath.
  • Walk on stairs and across yards regularly.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
