Job description

Job Title: Operations Associate (OA)

Gopuff is seeking dedicated Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs are vital to our success, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and collaborating with our partner drivers.

Our customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And if you like snacks, you'll fit right in!

Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
  • Receive and unpack pallets from vendors, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
  • Clean and organize the sales floor and facility.
  • Manage waste and spoilage, adhering to FIFO practices.
  • Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items.
  • Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently.
  • Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts.
  • Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and equipment to move products.
  • Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
  • Work periodically in freezer locations during shifts.
  • Walk several flights of stairs as needed.
Food & Beverage Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quality beverages and menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure accuracy in food and beverage packaging for delivery.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Receive and verify orders/invoices, resolving discrepancies related to expiration dates.
  • Maintain kitchen organization and manage waste and spoilage through mindful practices.
  • Prepare, package, and stage orders for handoff.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred, not required).
  • Flexibility to work during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts).
  • Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite).
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
