Job summary

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) seeks an Operations Analyst to analyze work order data, identify trends, and propose improvements across NYCHA communities. The role supports strategic initiatives and performance across housing programs.

You will develop and validate Excel reports, build workload and cost models, and draft policy memos and presentations for senior management and City Council hearings. Manage month‑to‑month deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years in community work or related duties.
• Experience in data analysis and creating Excel models/reports.
• Ability to draft policy memos and prepare management briefings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze work order/operations data to answer stakeholder questions and identify trends.
• Develop and validate Excel reports to monitor progress of initiatives.
• Build models to determine workloads and cost estimates for priorities.
• Draft policy memos and PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders.
• Draft talking points for Senior Management for City Council hearings.
• Develop project plans and manage month-to-month deadlines.
• Complete ad-hoc reporting and data entry as requested.
