Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Center Valley, PA is seeking an Operations Admin-Customer Service to support freight operations, invoicing, and customer communications. The role is full-time, on-site with a 3:30 PM start, Monday through Friday, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires strong communication, typing and Microsoft Office skills, with potential night shifts and prior transportation experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• English language required to communicate effectively with customers
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus
• Haz-mat or workers' compensation experience is helpful
• Problem solving and analytical ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Strong typing and ten-key skills
• Night shift hours may be required
• Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers via telephone, email, and fax on freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs
• Data entry including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for AR/AP
• Help process and monitor Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility
