Job summary

Pitt Ohio is hiring for an Operations Admin-Customer Service role at our facility. The position handles customer communication by phone, email and fax, processes freight paperwork, and supports accounts payable/receivable workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong English communication, office software proficiency and reliability for occasional night shifts while supporting supervisors, drivers and dock staff in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
• Experience in transportation and/or customer service is a plus.
• Haz-mat or workers' compensation knowledge is helpful.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Fast and accurate typing with ten-key skills.
• Some night shift hours may be required.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via telephone, email and fax on freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking and PODs.
• Data entry including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices, monitor checks and cash for AR/AP.
• Help process and monitor paperwork and Haz-mat information for loads.
