Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Experience in transportation or customer service is a plus.
• Experience with Haz-mat or workers' compensation is helpful.
• Strong typing and ten-key skills are essential.
• Some duties may require night shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via telephone, email, and fax on issues including freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry tasks include scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll processing.
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for accounts receivable/payable.
• Assist in processing and monitoring Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
• Assist in monitoring compliance in areas such as safety and payroll.
