Job Description

The Operational Program Director (OPD) oversees programs serving individuals with ID, DD, Mental Health diagnoses, medical needs, or on the Autism Spectrum. The role combines direct care and supervisory responsibilities.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with on-call duties for about 15-30 sites every 3-6 weeks, including some holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field preferred. Must have Designated Manager status per 245D MN requirements.
• At least 3 years supervising staff in human services per 245D requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to perform personal cares, lift, transfer, and transport clients.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and time management skills.
• Minimum age 18, some programs require 21.
