Job Description

The Operational Program Director (OPD) will lead and coordinate programs supporting individuals with ID, DD, Mental Health diagnoses, medical needs, or on the Autism Spectrum. The role includes both direct care and supervisory responsibilities.

Hours

Typically, full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The OPD is on call from 8am Monday to 5pm Friday to support staff across 4-5 programs. Additionally, the role involves being on call for about 15-30 sites from Friday at 5pm to Monday at 8am, approximately every 3-6 weeks, including some holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field; candidates must meet Designated Manager status per 245D licensing requirements in MN (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/245D.081).
• At least three years of supervisory experience in the human service field per 245D requirements.
• Valid US Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Valid liability vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform personal cares, lift, and transfer individuals.
• Ability to transport persons served in the community.
• Good decision-making, time management, communication skills, and flexibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old; some programs require at least 21 years old per MN licensing requirements.
